Objects In Picture…

… are bigger than they appear.

This weekend has been ouch city.

Caely decided to step on a sparkler ash, it’s about an inch big, I don’t think you can tell from the picture

Today after church, Patch got his head STUCK under the piano bench. I can’t even explain how it happened, but he was stuck good. I panicked when I first really looked at him and couldn’t get it out. I turned away and  some how he got unlocked and I helped him free. He ended up with a bruise across his head and a bloody mouth.

This was the result of that incident:

Right before we were headed to grandma’s, Lexi was riding her bike out in the front. I watched her for a moment, but headed inside. She thankfully stopped to put on a helmet. I’m not sure what happened, and I’m not mean enough to gross you out w/ her cutS, but here is the after math: (note, she’s down to a large band aid, it’s not really this bad)

So, we packed up and started to buckle up. With that Alexa headed to the car, while opening it she smacked Patch on the other side of the head for another big goose egg. Sorry, no picture.

Can I say drama at the Kesten’s. Hopefully this is not a preview of our week!

  1. Stop beating your kids! No really, I’m sad they all got hurt. My mom always said she was going to put me in a plastic bubble. Maybe you could try that. I hope the week goes better for you and the kiddos.

  2. Oh my word! Poor Patch. I could tell it was not just a little stuck by your reaction in the RS room. And poor everyone else, too. Lay low, would ya? I’ll see you Wednesday. Hopefully, you won’t be wearing any bandages. 🙂
