Celebrating Patch

He’s two! Today is Patch’s birthday. To celebrate, we went with the greatest friends ever (the Mayo’s) to the Discovery Gateway. It was a mad house, but it was the first time that we’ve been there that Patch cared what he got to do. He’s definetly two. He loved playing with the balls, but too many big kids taking all the balls away. Then we moved on to the building wall. He loved the tools and playing just like daddy. The water part was open (YES!) and he loved playing there too. The make believe house was shut down, which was a bummer, that’s where Lexi loves to play so this trip was disappointing for her. The helicopter was also shut down which is our families favorite part. All in all, Patch was happy so it was a success.

Thought you all would like to hear, last night Lexi said our prayer before we started scripture reading. She said, “thank you for daddy’s great smile, we love to see it, and thank you for his lap to sit on, we love to sit on daddy’s lap, and mommy’s too…” is that the most precious thing you’ve ever heard? These kids are great!
